Tween Programs for ages 10-12 and Teen Programs for ages 13 and older are held monthly at the library and include:
Craft Activity Times scheduled monthly. Teens and Tweens meet to participate in a fun crafting experience and share refreshments. Days and times to be announced and sign up is preferred.
Also we schedule STEM, board & card games, movie nights and makerspace projects as well as book discussion groups and Virtual Reality. Check for specific events with dates and times on our event calendar and on Facebook.
Whether you crochet, knit, sew or work on crafts this group meets every first Thursday of the month from 11am-1pm. Beginners are welcome. No registration required.
Gather with area writers of all levels to strengthen your skills as an author. These sessions, led by Dave Dean, will focus on the needs and desires of each participant, equipping and empowering you to take the next step in your writing journey. Whether you’re just getting started or have published dozens of books, this group is for you! No registration required. Open to adults and high school students
Do you have opinions about the Library? Join us at an upcoming monthly Teen Advisory Board meeting! Work on projects, share your ideas, and make new friends while earning volunteer hours and helping us plan programs for you! Meetings will be announced on our events calendar.
Registration is underway for our summer reading program and will continue thru July and end with an awards program on August 8. Logs need to be turned in by August 3. Tweens (ages 10-12) are required to read 700 pages and teens (ages 13-17) are required to read 1000 pages to complete this years summer reading program. Packets can be picked up at the patron services desk.
