The library offers Bingo with prizes for adults 18+. Bingo takes place at 12:30PM the first three Wednesdays of each month. Bingo is free to play and refreshments are provided.
BingoGather with area writers of all levels to strengthen your skills as an author. These sessions, led by Dave Dean, will focus on the needs and desires of each participant, equipping and empowering you to take the next step in your writing journey. Whether you’re just getting started or have published dozens of books, this group is for you! No registration required. Open to adults and high school students
Whether you crochet, knit, sew or work on crafts this group meets every first Thursday of the month from 11am-1pm. Beginners are welcome. No registration required.
Adult summer reading challenge has started and will continue thru August 17th, 2024. Any adult ages 18 and older may sign up during the 10 week program. The program is easy to do even if you are a busy parent! Participants will be asked to read a total of 60 hours to complete the program. Along with reading there are weekly puzzles, a book bingo, movie matinee Mondays, grab & go crafts and book rating review cards participants can choose to do. All participants completing the program will receive something special from the library and will be entered in a grand prize drawing.
Use your library card to get free admission or a special discount at participating Chicago area cultural destinations, such as Legoland Dis-covery Center, Brookfield Zoo, Naper Settlement and others.
